Nominations will open on June 1, 2010, for two positions on the association’s 2011-2012 Board of Regents. An application is included in this issue of Fraud Magazine.
On Feb. 23, the ACFE Board of Regents permanently expelled Martha Faul of Arcadia, Fla., and Tracy Newkirk of Stanwood, Wash.
In January 2010, the ACFE Board of Regents asserted that Certified Fraud Examiners must earn two of the required 20 hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) on ethics and standards.
Lt. Col. Robert J. Blair, CFE, CGFM; Cynthia Cooper, CFE, CISA; and Joseph L. Ford, CFE, took their oaths of office as newly elected members of the Board of Regents during the Board’s semi-annual meeting Feb. 22-23 at ACFE headquarters in Austin, Texas.
